the lightning seeds

review:
"Pure pop" is an almost accusational term repeatedly leveled at Ian Broudie and his (now a "proper" band)
The Lightning Seeds. This, of course, is no bad thing as it means tunes galore and leaving the venue in the best post-concert mood since, well...Beck in December, actually. All the hits are here (with the exception of "Three Lions" which they don't/won't play live): "Pure" (still their finest 3 minutes), "Lucky You," "Marvelous," "Ready Or Not," all serving to turn me into a dancing, grinning goon for an hour and a half. Perhaps you could bottle Lightening Seeds songs and sell them as anti-depressants. Now there's an idea!
