It's a pretty ambitious concept: "25 songs by 25 bands in 25 hours." All of the songs on this compilation disc were recorded at Columbus, Ohio's Workbook Studio in one 25-hour period. Unfortunately what that means is that they had to call up every jackass with a band in the Columbus vicinity to come in and participate. There's a handful of okay stuff on here (including a track from The Stepford Five), some stuff that's indifferent, and a whole lot of dreck. Kudos for all the hard work that went into making this, but there's nothing out of these 25 tracks that's unmissable, and if this is an accurate snapshot of the Columbus rock scene, not to be snobby about it but let's just say I'm glad I don't live there.
