You know, when I first reviewed this album in the 1st issue of copacetic zine, I made the comment that perhaps this would be an album that would grow on me. Well, here it is, 4 years since the album has been released, and indeed my feelings have changed a little. The debut Air Miami disc is a bit of a departure from the songs Bridget and Mark recorded as Unrest --- this album has a very synthy, 80's-pop feel to it. One thing I noticed and appreciate is that Bridget sings more with Air Miami than she did with the aforementioned now-defunct band. Well, I've pulled the cd down from the shelf a few times to listen to the dancy, fun "World Cup Fever" and I still think that "Special Angel" is a beautiful, wonderful song and I love the harmonies between Bridget and Mark. As time has gone by, I've also found appreciation for songs like "Seabird" where Bridget sighs over sprightly guitars and "Sweet As A Candy Bar" which I never liked before. (janice.99)

f*** you tiger teen beat records 1996
Those pottymouths known as Air Miami released this 7" single very shortly before they released "Me Me Me" (or at least it seemed like a short period of time). It features a dancier re-mix of the album's opening track "I Hate Milk" and a third re-mix of "Afternoon Train" which is also on the full-length. As for the non-album tracks, "See-Through Plastic" is a nice, jangly pop tune and "Warm Miami Way" left no impression on me at all. My assessment of this single? Nice, but not necessary. (janice.99)
