Absolutely no-fi songs that sound like they were recorded on a cheap boombox and then fed into a computer with the volume maxed out. This CD-R came with almost no information about the artist, but I'm assuming that it's one guy with a keyboard, drum machine, and guitar. Some of it sounds like it might be cool if it were used as texture in a better-recorded song, and some of it sounds a bit like some of that weirdo GBV stuff that came out on EPs in between Vampire on Titus and Bee Thousand. "My Wife Is a Mirror" is actually a not-half-bad New Wave pop tune, and could be tossed onto a mix CD for a little "what-the-fudge?" factor. (mike.11.05)
