It's hard to pick a favorite among the five fellows of cult comedy Kids in the Hall. But I've just always had a soft-spot in my heart for Kevin McDonald! Of all the boys, he just seems to be the sweetest. Read on for more...

...reasons why we think Kevin McDonald is copacetic!

• The most important reason why we think Kevin is copacetic is that he and his current girlfriend are involved in rescuing stray kittycats! Apparently, they work for a few pet rescue organizations in Southern California and have placed more than 50 cats in the past year. How sweet and wonderful and kind is that?! His warm, caring heart definitely crowns him as a copacetic guy!!!

• The guy has great taste in music! He's been spotted at They Might Be Giants concerts, and there's actually a pic of him signing autographs where he's wearing a TMBG shirt.

• Also on the music tip, when Kevin was on VH1's The List, he cited The Pixies' "Doolittle" and Talking Heads' "Remain in Light" for the "Best Album of the 80's". Right-freaking-on! Then, to solidify his coolness, he votes to remove Madonna's "Like A Virgin"! Can you see why we like this guy?

added 5/15/02 • When watching their tour DVD for "Same Guys, New Dresses", I liked him even more because when he and Dave got to be on the Conan O'Brien show and Scott didn't, Kevin was the one who totally went over and soothed Scott's bruised ego while Dave just stood in the dressing room rolling his eyes.

added 5.15.02 • I touched Kevin McDonald! : ) On 5.14.02, we got to see the KITH at Scarecrow Video here in Seattle. And when he walked past me, I couldn't resist, I had to touch him. (On the back, you pervs...yes, that means you, Jeremy...) Okay, I guess this isn't really a "reason why we think he's copacetic" but I still wanted to mention it! ; )
