within the pages: this issue started out kinda pissy, 'cause at the time, i was really down on the way society has this unspoken standard for beauty, and how cruddy that is. so there's a lot of articles in there about that, but i also tried to lighten it up with the usual music reviews and stuff!
interesting facts: In this issue, Mike did an awesome comic about the time we met comic artists Daniel Clowes and Chris Ware, and how when we met them, I started gushing about my copacetic-crush on Archer Prewitt! We gave a copy of this issue to Archer, and after reading it, he said, "Chris already told me about you! He was over at my place and we were having pizza and he told me about this girl he had met in Austin..." : D

my favorite things about this issue: I just love the comic Mike did. It never fails to crack me up. And the cover with Audrey Hepburn's beautiful face is prolly my fave copacetic cover ever.
my least favorite things about this issue: Looking back, all my ranting about society and the beauty standard and all that seem...well, kinda "rant-y". It's kinda embarassing in retrospect!
